Want to change the exhaust on my 2001 turbo which is stock except for EPL flash. I do NOT want a loud exhaust and do not want any drone. I'm leaning toward the Europipe. What are your thoughts. Thanks.

Hate to say it but he's right and exhausts really have to be heard. Lots of nice exhausts have been mentioned some with sound clips recently.

 

I just installed my old Milltek exhaust on a friend's bone stock 6TT, he is VERY happy in every way....

No drone, good sound and some HP more will u get if u chose the M&M Exhaust.
Best exhaust i know of.

 

I have tried a few exhausts,,
And I always go back to my 100 cell Milltek.. Great balance.
I am very happy with it,its a keeper.

 

i have to second the kline 200 cat stainless. for the street i cannot imagine a better sounding or performance exhaust for the money. it's on the low end $$? of custom made exhausts and there is a reason sambott@bydesign can offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. it is presumably because everyone that tries one is enamored of it and wouldn't change once installed.

i just decatted mine and it sounds like a lambo or thereabouts lol. plus the gain in power is astonishing. they must be on your short list along with milltek/europipe/911tuning/speedtech etc. and the better x pipe systems.

 

Sounds like you should stay stock
