So this car is a UK spec car that drives on the wrong side of the car?

Ok, I'd better spell this out, :

The 360 is euro spec Left hand Drive.

UK cars are built in Right hand drive.

In the UK we drive on the right hand side.

ok ?

Assuming this is not your only car, I would seriously look at the 360. 80,000 UK for a 2003 is a GREAT price (although I have no idea what these go for in the UK, from a USA perspective it is a steal). I don't want to take anything away from the GT2, it is an awesome car. But, the 360 just stirs my emotions more and is the one I would go after.

In regards of LHD to RHD, this you need to decide if you can live with. I so see a few RHD cars in the US (TVR's, older Mini's, etc..) and the owners seems to do OK with them, so whether you can deal with a LHD car in the UK is something you have to figure out. I would suppose the many narrow roads there will have you wincing from time to time!

how much do 2003 360s go for in euro countries that drive on the right? Seems you could buy that car and if the LHD is a big pain in the *** you can always ship it to a neighboring right-drive country and make some profit or at the very least break even.

you might look around for private sellers of GT2's, here the deals are amazing, like $50K US below window on 30 mile 02's. you seem to be paying around $144K US at $1.50 to 162K US at 1.69 exchange rate? which is it?
$155 US is the best i could find on 350 mile 03 here, so the price sounds good.

oh,
if you like to drive hard, get the gt2. i can not see an F holding up under a strong exercise regimen theway GT2's do!!!

The car rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrocks, I've had 2, done 15,000 amusing miles with no, none, nada service issues.

besides you'll have to go to the continent in the F to be on the right side of the road

if the 360 wasn't an F1, hands down the fcar

however, i can't stand the f1 tranny so my vote is for the GT2!

good luck - good to have these kind of dilemmas!!

1. annoying lurching/jerking from start (some say the updated versions are better, mine was an '01)
2. have to keep foot on brake while stopped or car blips into N - then if you forget that it blips into N and give it gas to go, you have to wait till the rpms come back down to engage 1st
3. F1 failure - ever watch 360GT races on speedvision? well, the F1 failure they experience (typically when it won't come out of N) is usually the same as the street car. mine had F1 failure twice within 3k miles - annoying as heck.
4. where is the fun in flipping a paddle? do 1/3 second faster shifts really mean that much to the average owner?
5. the gated shifter is so beautiful, not only to drive but aesthetically, it's a shame not to have it!

again, these are some of my personal reasons. most people love the F1 (as 75-80% of new cars are ordered with it) but to me it's as almsot as un-ferrari like as the TIP is un-porsche like.

Either way you are getting an awesome car.

For the money, the Ferrari is a better deal in this situation. The GT2 will perform better but I'd still take the F car.
