Hi all

Just wondering if there is any Maf upgrade to the stock unit? Something that plug and play would be nice.

I ask because I want to move the Maf onto the charge pipe infront of the TB. Clean up the intake and engine bay.

 

The only MAF "upgrade" is a hitachi unit but requires tuning to get it to work. Other than that a mafless tune is the only other options. Not recommended on either unless your car is tuned and running bigger snails and supporting mods.
If you are stock with a tune, keep it the way it is

It's not just the Maf. There is a custom flown tuning tube inside and a special housing. Not to mention propriety tuning. It will not run on a oem Maf file.
I strongly suggest you don't pursue this it's a dead end. It had to be done right - all of it. Easy way out - run mafless tuning and no need of a Maf

 

Agree moving the MAF for cosmetic reasons is not a good idea. Marskis set up is what I would do if that was my train of thought.

 

^^^ I agree. Just leave the MAF. You can do other stuff for looks in the engine bay. For Markski's badass setup...you have to be 'ALL IN'!!
