Mod Disease Never Ends.. Brembo's Are In! Pics Inside...
I Need a doctor. will this mod disease ever stop? stop ? need help..
After contemplating things i decided ok we decided arling n my wife, that the next upgrade will be the brakes.. the gang at lucent suggested the Brembo Big Brake Grand Tourismo kit..
at first i was hesitant bec. of the hefty price but boy am i glad that i did it..
no regrets here the car stops on the dime close to pccb stopping power... imho...
we actually did a bit of scientific study on the brakes here is what we found out...
Brembo Turbo 15'' F & 14'' R set-up 4pot brakes with custom "Arling color"
STOCK:
front stock rotor 13'' - 22.4lbs
front stock caliper - 10.2lbs
rear stock rotor 13'' - 19.2lbs
rear stock caliper - 8lbs
BREMBOS:
front brembo rotor 15'' - 19.0lbs
front brembo caliper - 10lbs
rear brembo rotor 14'' - 18.4lbs
rear brembo caliper - 10lbs
total weight saving:
front - 3.6lbs per corner 7.2lbs per axle
rear - +1.2lbs per corner +2.4 per axle
the fronts are actually lighter than oem.. and also there is a +2in inc. in rotor size
while the rear bec more heavy it is still not bad bec. theere is a +1in inc. in rotor size..
and of course the pedal feel and the stopping power is far superior than stock.. i should have done this a loong time ago...
I'd like to thanks the guys at lucent, arling, tom, simon, julio & jesus for all the help onmy car.. i would especially thanks my wife for buying thefront brake kit for me, also thanks for arling for the extra help

these are not bumble996 quality pics but i do try my best.
My wannabe angled shot lol

Sunsetting... decided to snap one...

Hopefully my car is fast enough so anyone trying to race me can only see the rear..

I tried some semi-night shots.. i think they came out pretty decent..
angled one eshaun hates this style lol...
