Got Windows Tinted, now interior lights won't turn off….
ALL:
I got my windows re-tinted today, and when I picked the car up from the tint shop, when I close the doors, the lights NEVER turn off. When I get out of the car, the lights stay on, I try and lock the doors and the car immediately honks but doesn't lock the door. when I lock the door manually it locks, but honks and the lights stay on. I hooked up my durametric and I'm getting a current code of 46-control locking synchronization, and I get other codes 54, 33, 49 and 60…. What could the issue be?

yeah, it'll beep when either the glovebox or center console or any compartment isn't fully closed upon locking with remote. also you can disable the i/r inside cabin motion sensor by double clicking the remote quickly upon looking which'll produce the same fast beep. that lets you know you've disabled it. it also puts the car to "sleep" instantly.

We should probably quit before OP starts freaking out about missing items and before he starts thinking about ferris-bueller parking lot ride. Haha
He had tint done, they probably removed his door panels. What might they have jacked up that would cause this? I don't recall seeing a door pin to detect closure so there must be something inside that checks this and would explain why it won't set the lock or turn off the lights...
good point, but no tint I've ever known of messes with the door latch mechanisms, but they could've messed with the window regs. i do know if they aren't adjusted properly, they will disallow the film to be placed properly as it affects the end position of the glass ( obviously ).
but the beeping unless something is indeed faulty? means a compartment is not fully latched is all.

Worked before tint, doesn't work after. Simplist explanation is that something was done during the process and since they pull door panels to do tint properly that's where I'd be looking. Interior lights won't turn off and alarm thinks door is open - my troubleshooting tree says something inside the door that makes the light come on is dorked :P
Turned out to be the door lock mechanism. The tool they used to pin the door to keep the window all the way up broke a lever and it made the car think a door was open. Fixed.
