996TT Decklid & GT2 Wing

Looking to swap out my current setup for the GT2 fixed wing and deck lid.

I know these are made by:

www.misha911.com
www.precision911.com

Anyone have any reviews on the companies above?

Anyone have any other recommendations?

Anything I should know?

Thanks!

+1. I am happy with mine. Not 100% perfect but still very good.

I have a Misha decklid and I was not super impressed with the fitment or sales experience (many delays to delivery).

I do have a precision front bumper and the fitment was pretty good.

Looks like http://precision911.com/gt2-wing-996...05-110-pd.html is about $1550.

Awfully expensive!

Still have to pay for shipping, and paint/install.

Shoot Tony an email at Precision. Tell him you're on the board here and maybe he'll drop a few hundred off the price. I did that for the GT2 spoiler and he gave me a lower price. Was over at his shop today to place the order.

Might even do his TechArt 997 GTS front bumper replica afterwards.

Can't hurt to try.

i was thinking of doing that ta gts front myself and i would only use precisions parts. problem is, i'd be re-opening my front rads to all that road rubble i live in, and that's not such a good idea.

When I bought my car (7 years ago) it had the factory decklid, with an aftermarket carbon fiber wing. I never liked it. Over the past 7 years, I have had the hydraulics for the up/down silliness fixed/replaced 3 times. I've basically had it with the stupid thing going up and down all the time, and when it does, only half goes up, or down. I'm not fixing it again. I like the GT2 larger fixed wing, so I'm going for it!

Do you have any examples or links of the ones you're referencing?

that is what I suspected. The hydraulics are so troublesome. That's why I'm about to launch an all electronic kit. Gotta get that patent filed....
