I call that very ugly!!!!!

one of the mechanics at Silver Star Porsche has a late 70's 911 in that color...It looks good on that car!!!

I think it'd be okay for a track car, but on the streek :nono:

Picture of car at the Ring. I would guess it is for testing of aerodynamics, wind flow slipstream stuff. Perhaps there are some sort of sensors under the plastic...

That is a body protection piece that the factory puts on before shipping the car. They put them on all four fenders and the bumpers.

I wonder is that is also known as Viper green. Ruf was making one of their ruf gt3's available in that color...

I think they are color coded for the bodystyle... narrow v. wide body v. Boxster. On the Cayennes they use a plastic wrap to literaly encapsulate the vehicle.
