If I had roads like that around here I'd take the long way...everyday!! Always like to see pics of your gt2. I'd really like to get a gt2 front bumper and tail down the road... Just wish there was a simpler way to get the front bumper to actually function properly on 996tt.

the cheapest way and its also looks great is a ruf bumper from germany. about 3k$ shipped and comes with center ductwork needed. i had one ordered and then a precision 911 bumper fell into my lap so its oem style for me

Yeah, I have looked at the ruf bumper and I contacted them a few weeks ago for a quote. It really is a great piece. My main issue is that I kind of prefer having the replaceable lower lip. My car is still all stock and I'm very very careful but I have still lightly rubbed the lip a couple times. I can only imagine when I'm lowered a bit on the coilovers.

How was the fit and finish on the Precision bumper?

fit was fine. lower lip is about 250$ from sun coast so replacing it isn't cheap. finish was in gelcoat. its fiberglass so you have to be careful with it more than factory. I'm collecting pieces for a functional front end but it doesn't come cheap each ductwork is 400$ the pieces that connect the bumper to the ductwork are about 300$ each and the brackets if you don't bend the ones you have are another 800$. add the fender liners, brake ducts center grill and lip and your north of 5000$ if this bumper wasn't free i would be all over a ruf bumper

I don't have any super close pics right now... can get some up soon, but for now here are a few to get an idea. I bought the 997 LEDs from Agency Power, gave them to my body shop guy and he made a custom mold to fit them in where the GT2 fins/splitters are. Came out pretty awesome. I then wired them independently, so I can turn off/on without turning on the headlights or driving lights.

My wheels are HRE C-90's. I believe they are discontinued. Got a killer deal on them from Wheel Enhancement in Culver City CA. I think they set the car off nicely.

SteveB. That is an exceptional 996TT! Who is the manufacturer of your GT2 front bumper and are the 997 LEDs OEM? Thx.
