Nice ride Steve. could you share more details about the new tail and the mods on the front bumber with the LED

 

The front bumper is an aftermarket fiberglass GT2 nose with 997 LEDs integrated. It was a decent amount of additional labor to modify the bumper to house the LEDs, but I like the fact that its pretty much the only one like it. Plus the LEDs look amazing when on.

 

Thanks. My concern with the LED is the color diffrence from the headlight.
I was going to do an upgrade for my turbo OEM front bumber with LED fitted in the vents. That exercise highlighted hidden issues in my car OEM bumber that require to change the whole bumber. I bought my car used and that was something I thought it could fixed cheap. Now I am prooved wrong plus my LED one of them didn't work. Now I am considring a change to a GT2 front bumber. I will try my luck again.

Which wing is that?

 

The 997 LEDs are bit "bluer" probably 5-6K color range if I had to guess. They are slightly off from the headlights but not by much. I wired them independently from the headlights, so I usually run them by themselves and if headlights are on I sometimes shut them off. I treat the LEDs like driving lights.

If I were to do it all over again, I would buy a used OEM GT2 nose and call it a day with no LED modifications. Good luck!
