I have the RUF one, night and day difference, one of the best upgrades you can do to the car.
I second that

Question Apologies for newbie question but...

What is a short shifter? What is it people don't like about the regular TT shifter? How hard is it to get a short shifter?

I am a new TT owner and even though I've driven plenty of stick before, I find, how do I put this, that I suck getting into first gear. I stall, or rev too much. The clutch seems very long to me. I'm not sure I'm talking about the same things as you guys, but it sounds like it...

Thanks for the help.

I have the B&M short shift kit in conjunction with the Ruf undermount kit (set at 40%). I love it, and has not given me any trouble as of yet.....

The TT clutch takes a bit of getting used to, since it doesn't engage until you've almost let it out. That combined with the variable Egas throttle makes smooth slow roll -aways inconsistant as a new owner.
Enjoy your new cab - that new color is nice!
