Yes only one front drive assembly, what OP wants to do is remove the VC from the assembly and improve it's lock-up capability
While housed in one assembly/casing, the VC is a separate part from the front differential

Goodplan!
Are you thinking of increasing the breakaway/initial torque or improving total lock, or both?
Cheers,
Rob

I think this mod with some tune will make the car pretty aggressive also on tarmac.
But it would be nice to hear if someone has tried this already.

Thanks for clearing that up for me 993GT.

I guess i need the breakaway to increase as i want permanent 40% power on the front wheels.

Bara requested a picture of the VC unit to see if it can be pumped up, usually they drill a hole in the unit, fit a fillerplug and pump in more silicone fluid.
But it would be nice if anyone have tried this so i dont waste my money on something that will not work.

The only vcs I've worked on were in the old jeeps but fairly simple. Good picture of ours 993gt, quite the housing set up.
