EM 996,

I ordered the smaller mesh (not stainless) because I want protection from debris AND allow fewer rocks into my radiator.

EM 996 GTS is infamous around these parts
During high-speed; sometime the larger rocks fly straight to the intercoolers and left some damages.

the mesh will definately help to trap out the leaves, rocks and cigarette butts from the road.

reagarding the size of the wire mesh; others may have their own prefferences...

EM 996,

How come you put a 996 C4 chin spoiler on your TT? My stock one is kinda scratched up and I'm wondering if I should just have it painted Artic Silver to match my car or just replace it.

David,

My Turbo had been through many stages . . .
some pictures of it

one of the first mods I did to the car was painting all of the lower (black) plastic trims to match the car color.
The minor problem with the stock oem Turbo's lip it has that middle section part. ( you know what Im talking about? ). I scrapped it too many times on SF's slopes and driveways... On the other hand; the oem C4S's lip cut short of that piece, but still has the brake duck inlets (air passage ways).

oh, keep in mind that when painting over the black plastic oem piece, the paint might chip when you scrapped them, especially the front lip.

I think the C4S lip is cheaper than the TT's and so far, so good.

Regards,
