What should Vacuum be at idle?
What should Vacuum be at idle?
Did a search and the only post I found had conflicting data. Can someone tell me what the normal Vacuum numbers are at idle when warm.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I don't have the answer to your vacuum question but If this is to help troubleshoot your boost issue, please read the sticky note on Durametric logging and create a log with all the values it recommends, including MAF and throttle position and post a WOT pull so others can help. Also answer the questions that were asked in your previous threads.

I've read most of your threads and it seems like you've checked everything except for the throttle body and positioner. The softronic tune should have eliminated the throttle output reduction to prevent limp mode at high boost but you should log the position anyways, maybe the throttle positioner is not functioning properly and not opening all the way. Also physically check the throttle by removing the y-pipe and pushing it opening to see if it's functioning properly.

I just did this a few weekends ago, car was acting up. Easy enough to do. I picked up some throttle body cleaner, and and some maf cleaner and cleaned both. I didn't remove the TB I just removed the y pipe and held the butterfly open and cleaned around it. Car works normal now.
Also, I don't think you mentioned anything about fault codes. Have you checked for fault codes with your Durametric? Even if you don't have a check engine light on, you could have fault codes present. A physical problem with the throttle positioner would likely give you fault codes. Your ECU cutting back throttle position may or may not give you fault codes, I'm not sure.

Forgot to mention I also recalibrated / reset e gas.

I wish I did as it would at least tell me what area I should be focusing on.
