6MT
Dec 14, $43k, 29k miles
Nope
$9k in maintenance & repairs, some of which I knew was necessary when I purchased the car, much of which I did not anticipate.
No
Also, before anyone accuses me of inadequate due diligence. Car was a one owner, dealer serviced for it's whole life. Had a PPI done that identified a few minor issues.
I've bought a lot of cars before, car drove well, checked out, but have spent a considerable amount of money chasing gremlins and fixing things that weren't noticed on PPI.

Split finger heaven
It would helpful if you can post the following info:
1) 01 6MT
2) 2013 with 27k, now at 38k
3) Exhaust, and EPL tune
4) How much did you spend per year for maintenance and repairs? What was done?
read below
5) If you had to do it over, would you buy it again?
Definitely
Bought the car in 2013 with 27k from a well known Porsche dealer in NJ didn't spend any money that year except for gas and oil, put maybe 2k miles maybe a little more but less than 3k that year, car slept for the winter.
Spring of 2014 I took her out got a misfire code for a coils. That May took the car to polar porsche in south NJ, he did 30k service changed coils, plugs, oil, coolant, tranny fluid and belt all for about 1k. Again didn't spend anything else except gas and oil for the rest of year, approx. 1 qt every 1k miles or more, car slept in winter.
This spring I needed to replace the battery and had alternator issues, also changed O2 sensors and oil change but have not spent more than 1k yet on maintenance since I've done it all myself.
Optional expenses are whats killing me.
Last year spent about 2k for new wheels with tires, 600 for used exhaust and 600 for EPL tuning promotion.
This year planning to install springs and do brakes (Steel braided lines, fluid and pads)
Knock on wood, but it seems pretty reliable to me so far but i don't DD it.

I'm in my 5th year of ownership. I do all the servicing myself as well as repairs and upgrades.
My car is an '04 TT Cab 6 speed, 17K miles at purchase, 28K now.
Since owning it my spoiler failed, so I removed the upper wing and left it off and like it better that way. An accumulator also failed which I upgraded to a 997 part for under $140. That's all the repairs I've had. I have scraped and replaced a couple of front spoiler lips at under $90 each which was a cosmetic consideration rather than mechanical failure.
Oil changes cost me under $60 which I do annually, tires as needed. A cabin and air filter were replaced at a cost of about $55. The rest of the cash spent involving this car was exchanged for wants such as wheels, components to make adjustable dog bones, KWV1 Coilovers, Adj rear sway bar.
My car was unadulterated and 100% stock, never been f'd with, modded, wrenched on by a shade tree etc. As a tech, I fix stuff every day that other shops and owners screw up or can't do right. For this reason I was extremely picky when looking for a car. I rejected every car I saw that had indications of any work being done that was not factory.

Be glad you don't own a Murc, My buddy who never drives his lambo, let the battery die.
Apparently the battery is in one of the rear wheel wells so you have to take out the tire to replace the battery.
Long story short he ended up having to pay the dealer just under $5k to come flatbed it to them, swap the battery and "re-program" the computer so they say.

My wife and I are considering selling her Range Rover because it is nicking at the checkbook more than we'd like for general BS crap...
There is no discussion of getting rid of the TT.
