Quick 996tt shoot
SubscribeGenerally speaking the shots want to show the car from straight ahead, full on sides, then straight from the rear and 3/4 views from the front and from the back of each side.
This give one a chance to check panel gaps/fits and head light and tail light fits and trunk lids fits and exhaust tip position, looks for "waves" and such in the side of the body and doors, etc.
From the front ideally the A/C condensers should be clearly visible to confirm both are the same in terms of patina. One new one and one old one can be a sign of accident damage/repair. (If one replaced due to a leak the text of the ad should mention this.)
Each wheel/tire and brake rotor should be clearly visible so the viewer can tell what type of tires are fitted, the type of brake (cast iron, PCCB) and whether the rotors are stock or aftermarket and their condition. The wheel condition should be discernible too.
The front and rear tires should be visible in the head on and tail on pics.
The interior shots should show the odometer clearly and all of the dash so it is clear what options are present.
This also should show the condition of the dash and buttons/controls.
Each seat bottom and back should be shown and the carpets and door panels, headliner and so on.
A picture of the original window sticker is nice too.
Lots of pictures but this gives a prospective buyer a chance to from the comfort of his easy chair a real good opportunity to get to know the car very well.
This works to your advantage for when he shows up he's already probably made up his mind to buy the car.
It is best if the pics are taken so there are no shadows or reflections in the car.
Used car lots like to take pics of cars under the incandescent light bulbs as this really makes the car look spectacular but it can often hide a number of things. But since you have nothing to hide you should strive to photograph the car in the light that best lets the car true condition show.

Good luck. I agree nice shots from all angles. Good pics and description and the car and sell sight unseen for buyers who are far and can't come down.

Thanks - it's a narrowed market that it is slightly modded and is a driver versus a garage queen. I am getting 40, 41, 42, 40, 40 etc....I just can't do that at this point. Worth driving for another year.Originally Posted by '02996ttx50

and @ 130k mi? fk em let em catch me

I plan to keep mine for a long time
...For those kinds of offers, they can pry mine from my cold dead hands wrapped around my (not alcantara yet) steering wheel(s)
...which reminds me that I have to send my extra steering wheel to get black alcantara'd with red stripe! (I will be safely putting away my stock one)
