front radiator
Eventually I plan to go with the all aluminum if they cost same as OEM.
I'm sure you're right. Maybe it was lying next to a dead boxter lol..but it did come straight from the LAPD Porsche graveyard
I often confuse 986/996 parts compatibility in 2am posts lol if ya know what I mean...
BTW.. Those CSF look great on yours. I'm sure I would do the same if more than one were needed.
Edit: Jim I apologize! Please! Do NOT attempt a retrofit of a 986 rad onto your car. Stick with door lock mechanisms and frunk poppers lol
edit: man was THAT an embrassment! forgive me my misinformational sin lol. I know what I was drinkin"!
but what was I THINKIN"?!

I think you know me by now Mark, check twice install once....well most times.
i'll have to apply that to my over posting process as well. in any event. i thought the csf were much more than oem or generic replacements. if not, then that wouldn't require much aforethought!?
hahaha, hope I'm not also doing one of those 2am posts as well Mark! the Heineken is cold ATM...
the rads are great, have taken their share of wear n tear without issue
and as a reminder to all, yearly(at minimum) bumper-off radiator cleanings are key!
Cheers,
Rob

i need a breathalyzer for my keyboard
but if i need rads again, i'm def gonna get something other than oems and replace all. csf sure look like the ticket. admittedly i cheaped out, but if a guy says he'll pick on one up from lapd after leaving the pcar shop and bring it over?! f it. it's still working
but at least i DID screen mine in. now i just scrape the chicken wire i have covering the rads. was my personal chief complaint i had about our stock front. what were THEY thinkin'!?! but it also protects me while singin' my usual hank williams country songs
which folks claim can be heard OVER straight "pipes",.. the cars, not mine
hey also..i owe ya a beer of choice for the p zero headsup. good on you man. cheers
