herrquan is infamous around these parts
I picked up a used CAE shifter but the install (adjustment) guide was not included. Is anyone here able to provide a PDF of the instructions?

I installed with cup cables. I'm unable to engage reverse. The grub stop for reverse isn't limiting the lateral swing.

Cheers,
Herman

I like the Numeric better. Fits under the stock boot. Stealth not flash.

steroids have been known to increase the volume of ones speech patterns, while simultaneously attenuating their gonads.

theres no need. a good bit of effort is required to move the shifter to the far left to engage the reverse. since you are rarely if ever speed shifting into 1 its unlikely you ever hit reverse by mistake.

With my old B&M shifter I found myself in reverse at lights accidentally more than once as did others who drove my car. It's now pretty obvious when it occurs because the backup camera comes on but I still prefer a lockout on all of my cars. Supra and STi both had it right, GM T56 and the way Porsche did it on our cars isn't to my liking, I like that the CAE shifter fixes this.

The reverse lockout is a great option and piece of mind. Honestly I just love everything about the shifter, especially inrelation to racing. The strong centering spring just makes it amazing and close to a sequential.

I still have not got one, I will soon though. How fast can this shifter....Be shifted? I heard someone referring to the sound of the shifts sounding like a sequential box as they were that fast. When I watch videos on youtube they sound like normal shifts. Also what about missing gears, Is that a thing of the past with this shifter?
