New Turbo Cab on order: newbie advice needed

First, let me say I have been an avid reader of this board for a long time... very useful and insightful information from all of you...thanks.

I am a current 99 996 Cab owner, with a Turbo Cab on order (est arrival in about 3 weeks). Any thoughts on what I should expect on a trade on mine (approx 29k miles)? I am hearing the market for pre-owned 996s is taking a beating. I am debating whether or not I should wait for better weather (DC area) and sell my car in the spring... and wait until then to get the TT Cab. I am also in a quandry with the potential of waiting for the 997/998.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

MSRP worst case. But from what I am seeing, I expect these to be discounted sometime next year. Had an 03 TT X50 that was on the dealer's lot in this past summer that he was going to sell me at about 12k off MSRP. I don't expect this kind of discount but a couple of months wait might be worth it...

I think waiting for summer might mean better trade-in on your 99 since with winter nearing the market for cabs is dead now!!
