this is what is showing on pelican parts. Is this correct?
Ignition Coil - With Spark Plug Connector Brand: Beru Note: Updated design with 31 mm long bolt tabs,, (uses 6 X 40 mm hold down bolts). (2006 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe)Part #: 997-602-104-02-M47
99760210400 is latest for our cars, AFAIK...looking into it more now, seems the updated tall coils are not spec'd for our cars...following with interest
Pelican seems to be the only retailer suggesting them for our cars.
I don't see a suggested part# 'update' from my number. Why not just go with the original design?

those will not work at all they are for: 2.5L, Porsche Boxster 2000-2002 2.7L, Porsche Boxster 2000-2002 3.2L, Porsche 911 1999-2001 3.4L
i dont think any 986 part number coils is correct ever. in fact I'm sure they're not.
just get the 997 ones since thats all that's correct for the car i use the beru here
100.036 is right, i think pelicans site is messed up again,]. it keep linking to an unknown part #! but thats what they sent me last time 100.036
i have NO idea what it says for 2006! "coupe" but pelican makes parts LISTING wrong in their catalog with an unsettling degree of regularly. but i use them always. i just call and call them and ask that they skim the PET before i order. better safe than a wrong part.

thats the right one updated part number and the price is right. i never paid more than $42 per ever. again, pelicans site is often goofy though they'll get you the beru part, though the other will work also.
