I've started looking for a 996 Turbo and found one locally. 2002, 35k miles, records since at least 2007(possibly earlier), what I think is a reasonable price, overall pretty good shape. People seem to hate the color combo. Speed yellow with a brown interior and the wood trim package. Odd, but I didn't think the combo was that bad and that's all that matters, but what's your opinion?
That's not a brown interior - it's natural leather. I'm a big fan of natural leather. I think the best match for that colour is something that contrasts greatly - like black, or dark blue, even red. Unfortunately, yellow does not contrast at all. It just looks like a poor color match.
And we wonder why these cars are priced at a "Great deal."
Price should speak for itself here. With no disrespect, the prior owner didnt want to be seen in it with 35K.
I think the guy might be the original owner. He has some questionable taste with a few things but supposedly takes really good care of his cars. He's replacing the car with a GT4 or I don't think he'd be selling.
