Honestly, I think you are being cheap. You should have added on 2000 sq ft and a couple of different style lifts.

You deserve it!

Another tip for installation: set the posts farther apart than you may expect based on the suggestions from Danmar. I went with a medium distance and it's a pain in the *** to get the car in just the right spot in order for the lift pads to line up. I think it would work better on cars where you lift the pinch welds, but the lift points on the 996 and my BMW's are a little closer to the center.

How far did you put your posts apart from outside to outside? Mine are 126 inches and the only car I've had an issue with was my buddies C5. Jack points are super close together on that car. 996 isn't a problem.

i set mine at the farthest point 126" and if the car isn't perfect in the center its move and adjust move and adjust. use the medium spacing.

The largest spacing specified by Danmar is 135 inches.

Thank you all for the encouraging words. I poured a full length 15 inch deep grade beam across the garage floor. That way, I can sink multiple anchors at different widths. I have the 996tt, a 1996 jeep grand cherokee, a 2006 subaru outback wagon, a 1968 Jeep CJ-5 and a 2001 Dodge cummins. Everything but the cummins will fit in the garage. I may install anchors on the outside pad for the cummins. Front or rear only, not a full truck lift.

For those who used epoxy set anchors, how did you do it? I was planning on using the included wej-it anchors. Perhaps with an epoxy supplement. Any pics would be really helpful.

We pour the final pad on Tuesday. Oh btw, the cheapest price for concrete in the SF bay area is $120.00 per yard. That's a mix on site shot pour. Such a rip off to live here.

I still need to measure for Vogz. The 911 isn't too picky at my spacing, but the BMW's are very picky.

Yea, I thought 135 was a wee bit far so I put mine at 126 too.

Epoxy anchors are unnecessary unless you drill really wobbly holes. I took my time and drilled a very small pilot hole to keep big bit from walking and then drilled full size holes with a brand new Bosch bit and used the supplied anchors and I couldn't even pull them back up 1/8" when I set them because they were already so tight. I Have had zero issues and even had my buddies Rubicon Unlimited on the lift for two days straight.

Finally finished

So, here's the finished job. 42+- yards of concrete, a couple thousand pounds of rebar. A level garage and nearly level pad. Wait until 10/11 or so and epoxy floor covering, then drill and install floor anchors. I've got a list of about 5 lifts so far to do.

So I probably shouldn't do this:
