Unhappy Tip gear broke down today

Gear broke down and is now getting exchanged under warranty .. after some really nice quarter mile testing I got a msg saying Emergency Tiptronic and the shifter was blinking .. so i turned off the car and turned it back on and the msg was gone .. so i did another run just to see if everything was alright and the car wouldnt shift .. had it towed to the garage .. removed engine mods , installed stock ecu and took it to the dealer .. he said it would be fixed under the warranty ..
any ideas why this happened ? I was told that this ZF gear is the same one that is used on a Mercedes 500 .. it is only good to about 700 LBS of torque , I might have been running a lil over that w/o having a trans cooler installed .. any tips how to help this from preventing again ?
FYI i did a 11.1 @ 126MPH , my best run sofar .. havent installed my new torque converter yet ..

trans cooler is all I can say. I even put one on my girls stock accord. I use to have a tranny temp gauge in my car and the numbers it'd get after installing a cooler kept them a lot lower then w/o. I can't stress enough how important it is to monitor tranny temps. I gurantee 90% of auto tranny failure out there is due to overheating.

where can you get the trans cooler kit?

I have changed my tip gearbox 4 times. I will be surprised if someone has had more changed.

first time was because i kept getting a loud whine when i shift to first to allow me to use tiptronic mode. dealership said tranny needs to be replaced.

they replaced it with an incorrect transmission which i didnt know until i start spinning in the highway going 120mph. car went from 5th to second according to the person that came down from porsche

they replaced it with the third gearbox, I upgraded the ecu and had the same problem with the tranny whine. They detected me having an upgraded ecu and so i had to pay for the fourth but instead i decided to make a big deal about it and i got it for free. I said i would publish an article about how poor their service was and i would do it worldwide and they gave me the tranny. I am replacing it with TTP tranny soon but didnt know there was a tranny coolant kit available for it. which company makes them?

B&M and Hayden make a tranny cooler that should be adaptable to any car. You just hook it up through exisiting fluid lines. I don't see why one couldn't be adapted to the turbo. What's beefed up in the TTP tranny?

I know techart makes a tranny cooler but for manual X50s only!!
Also, they only install it at their facility in Germany and will not sell the part alone...
