The one thing I hate, is the big plume of white smoke that happens every now and then after you start the car (usually only happens after a hard run, or a very long drive)
BIG steering wheel.

As far as the "difficulty factor" of getting laid in the Back of a 911....Since the advent of the "hump" in the middle!...it makes it that much more of a circus feature, doing it in the front!
My personal opinion, when the erge to merge comes over.....the rear spoiler make for a great lift off point......of course, this is dependent of lift off weight of the mother ship! asalways-havefungetlaiddriveporsche-Mark

I got one of the first 996tts in August '00. My main gripe is
that Porsche (I suppose they had to) offered the 996tt first,
and then only later offered the GT2 at an extra $90k... I'm
saying I wish it was a GT2, and that the prices were
reversed.
For me, I would have liked a bunch of lightening options
and a range of suspensions to choose from.

# Small gas tank
# Non- adjustable steering wheel
# Inability to get to the battery if it goes dead (Really dumb!)
# Fender/Wheel gap
# Weak sounding Exhaust note
# Long/ Imprecise gear changes
# Non-linear clutch feel

I'd say the clutch issues others have mentioned as well. Another thing that grinds me is the quality of the interior. The plastic, especially in gray, looks cheap. It took over $5k in Carbon Fiber to make the car look like a $100k+ car instead of something that rolled of the Toyota assembly line.
And you guys laugh at the Corvette's interior....

-Mysterious creaks and rattles
-Have to jump fuse panel to get access to dead battery
-Porsche batteries suck like a Hoover
-Radio- rattles in the GT2 (I know it is a GT2, but it is the worst radio ever put into any car I have ever been in), does not work half the time in the X50 (because it is Bose)
-The Turbos have really long throw for shifting (Perfect in GT2)
-The Turbos have soft, mushy clutches (Perfect in GT2)
-Headlights can pop out over bumps and are also easy to steal
-The interior could be a little better, but that has never really been Porsche's forte.
-Most Porsche owners
Still the best car I have ever owned. I am sure the laundry list for a Ferrari would be much longer, or any other car in that league.
