996 turbo side intake vents. How do they come off?

Never done it, but found the removal page 970 of the repair manual:

As the above pic shows (circle #1 top right), just use a nylon pry-device and pry out at the top and bottom front edge.

Once that's loose slide the duct towards the front of the car and it's out.

Put painter's tape around it before you begin to avoid scratches!

They come out kind of violently...feel free to hold you're breath. Lol.
