My name is Dwight Baldwin and I'm a second time Turbo Porsche owner, but new to the 996 and 6 SpeedOnline. I've had the car just over a month now and I'm enjoying it very much. Plans for it are pretty much bolts on for now and to continue enjoying it. I'm not a big Forum poster, but i do check them from time to time.

I've made a few changes to the car, new wheels, custom exhaust and Cobb tune

I once messed around with different exhaust options for my car, given that I love the center exit exhaust on the 997 GT3RS. I decided there were a lot of other things that I wanted to do first.

 

I will have to take some pics, I haven't got the factory exhaust outlets filled and smoothed in yet.

 

 

That looks way better than my mock up above. What diameter tips are you running?

 

They are 4" tips with 3" piping.

 

That explains it, the tips in my mock up picture were 3". I was afraid something bigger would be out of place, but yours look great.

How loud is it now that the piping is going straight through the muffler, instead of into the muffler and then turning 180 degrees and going back through the muffler?

 

I used straight through mufflers, it's not to loud other than a little drone around 2,000rpm
