window goes all the way down with door opening and window switch

Please help,

The passenger window goes all the way down when pulling either the outside or inside door handle. It would pause at the usual location and continues to go all the way down.

I have tried disconnecting the battery, re-teaching the end points by holding the power window switch for 10 seconds at top and bottom. No success.

The power window switch inside will also one-touch down every time and at times I can't stop it by pressing the power window button up or down.

The micro switches turn on the interior lights properly.

Looked with durametric, but no power window modules for 996tt

Since it is just the passenger window try swapping the switches between driver and passenger and see if the problem follows.

Thanks for the idea. I was going to try it, fortunately, it worked after I left the battery disconnected for 30 minutes and reset everything.

I think a few minutes without power wasn't enough to erase the corrupted control parameters. The clock kept time while the battery was disconnected so it gave me a reason to try a longer disconnect.

Lesson learnt is disconnect the battery for a long time.
