Kinesis 996 is on a distinguished road
What a nice combo. A yellow modified 996 tt and a stock GT2. Best of the 996 platform. Now all you need to do is add a 6 GT3 and you have all the best 996 series

Very nice example. Put a condom on it, seal it up. In 20 years unwrap it, sell it, and retire a rich man.

Lol, that's the plan.

Spoke to the owner of Downtown Porsche , here in Toronto today.. He told me to hang on to it.. And stating that there was aprox 300 made in North America, and about 150 996 GT2 's have been reported totaled .

Don't know if these numbers are accurate but that's what I was told.

+1, I normally promote driving, but this beauty is ready for garage queen/collector status
~305 is right for N/A production

Theres only two ways to own a 996 gt2. Keep it mint for 20 years and then cash out,

or in my case...

Drive the hell out of it, and keep it forever!

Nice car, good find and smart buy!

Lol yep, very true.
I already have a 03 996tt that's going to be making 1000hp that I enjoy.. . This one will stay stock and probably never be driven by myself.. It will be in my heated garage, covered, as if it's in a museum.. I'll start it up, once in a while get the motor warmed up.. And that's pretty much it.

You bought a car and your not going to drive it at all You were better off buying a piece of property and sit on it. Just my two cents. Any how good luck with the car, it looks great

Whether this car appreciates or not, I really don't care. I bought this car because I like it. And I just wanted to own a GT2 ... But based on the Porsche car trends, I see this being a better investment than a property.

^_ in Illinois for sure, I say keep it, and take it for a spin ones a month, you have to drive it to rotate everything. I want that wing and front bumper, but i'd like to keep everything original on the outside

I'm sure 996s will go in price.. 2-3 years maybe. I was talking to my fiancee and saying maybe i should sell mine for like 40k with 52k miles atm, fully maintained. and she replayed, don't do it, don't be stupid, this is the car you always wanted, I want you to keep it. I don't care , god I love her.

Ill take it out once a month, to keep the car in tiptop shape. But for me to go out to Walmart with the car, isn't happening lol.
