Angry Had to happen-fender lip rolled !!!!

Had to happen sooner or later. New PSS9's set at 4 and 3.

Get the car cleaned and out for the post Turkey day run and bad choice of road today.

New "rut" (actually more like sink hole !!!) and next thing you know I have both front wheel fender lips "rolled" from contact with front rubber (front end bottomed out ).

Oh well. Saves me the time and hassle from having the body shop roll it for me. damm county roads !!!!!

Anyone else had this happen?

P.S. running on 245's (9x18's) front and 335's (11.5 x 18's rear).

Ah blast Let's take a look.. I'm sure it's not too bad... I've done it so many times now but somehow the paint helled up.... The front fenders are actually a little bit rolled. The rears are not

PS Even though the sizes are a lil' larger. The RA-1s are closer to to 235 and 315 (so close to GT2 spec).

Probably should stiffen front end up a little....... No paint issue so thats good. May have to raise the height a little or else no more running around bad roads for me !!

P.S> Sharkster: I should not have taken a ride in a 640 hP car cause now I'm scheming up ways to justify getting it done sooner !!!!!!!!

Oki dokes man.. For someone who likes to take the high road like you, we'll do 3 and 2 in the rear and maybe even get some sway bars eh? We can raise her a notch too...

On the GT640... hehe I know what you mean.. It's not half bad. I love the quick spool of those turbos!

Like Alex said, the fronts are rolled from the factory. You just didn't notice.

Which brings me back to a couple of years ago when you and Kev showed me the good 'ol Louisville Slugger technique. It's a good thing a I didn't use a Cricket Bat instead!

Phew, thanks guys. Had a Homer moment there! DUH !

Oh well, out of ignorance comes more knowledge (although I did use a baseball bat to roll the fender on my old 86 Carrera-darn I miss that heap; oil leaks and everything)

Got to do a SEARCH on SWAY BARS now. Later.
