suggestions to look?

Hi there,

I am interested in buying a 03/04 996TT, preferably under 40K miles and under $45K.

I know that there is a classified section of this website, but was looking for suggestions as to where to look besides this forum.

I have been looking on ebay and cars.com. Any help is appreciated.

thanks

only other one outside of what you listed would be autotrader.com and rennlist.

I had written it off initially but ended up finding my car on craigslist while randomly looking one day. Not a bad place to check especially considering you're in the bay area.

A good car is where you find it so you need to look everywhere.

There is here, and as another offered Craigslist. Someone mentioned www.autotrader.com. I'd offer www.nada.com or www.kbb.com might offer used car searches.

Check out the ads in Excellence and Panorama too.

BTW, there's a 2003 996 Turbo for sale at Porsche of Livermore. It has 53K miles and has a Tip. Price is $42.5K but I bet one could get it for less

Great, met once to test drive, once for PPI, and once to exchange money and keys.

PCA had a classified
Carguru
Autotrader

There is also a search engine that does all of craigslist so you don't have to do individual city search each time. I forget what it's called though.

I found mine on autotrader

Atrox, yes... there was a website called crazedlist that let you search all of Craigslist but it is no longer around. Now you can use searchtempest.

Here's an easier tip, utilize google's search parameters to your advantage for searching all of Craigslist at once.

'Porsche 996 turbo site:craigslist.org'

You can even get creative with it.

'Porsche 996 turbo site:seattle.craigslist.org OR portland.craigslist.org'

Might take a while to meet that criteria if you want a 6spd. Why limit yourself to 03/04?

Yep, CL

Just for a data point, I found my 02 TT on CL . . . literally 7 miles from my home-- I sold my M5 as well as a C2 on CL, great site, KH
