RWD Conversion?

I've asked this before with little or no input.

Anyone have experince with removing the front driveshaft to permanently convert to RWD?

Is this a workeable long term solution? In terms of uneven wear on transmission for example?

Does the stability management still work?

Does this reduce or eliminate wheelhop on hard launches?

Is the car more "steerable" with the throttle?

I'm interested as well

I would love to hear opinions on using the 997 GT3RS sequential transmission on a mod'd '05 Turbo S Cab.

Doing so would eliminate the front drive output making the front driveshaft, differential and half shafts dead weight that could be removed.

Is my reasoning flawed?

TIA - Steve

Boris has done a "proper" Gt2 conversion. I did actually speak to him....

If I was going to spend the money to do a GT2 conversion, I think I would just buy a GT2.

I'm more intersted in a "Ghetto" GT2
