I have researched the Durametric, I Carsoft, Cobb as well as several ther OBD readers. I would like an economical unit to be able to easily read the DME over rev history while car shopping. It looks like this can be done on the Enthusist version of Durametric, but I would use up my 3 licenses.

Anyone have any personal experience with these handheld units that can confirm their ability to read the DME information?

 

Durametric has a professional cable able to read unlimited amount of cars.
Cost more obviously.

 

I see the value in the professional model as it does not have the same use restrictions. Was hoping to find a "glove box" version that was easy to use and store.
