I was wondering if someone has tried 996 turbo oem PP with sachs 88 1864 001 098 clutch disc. As i have understod the orginal PP should be equal to sachs 999752 PP. So this combo should hold for 550ish TQ?

I wouldnt take any risk. Just buy the sachs performance package and u will be safe up to 850 NM. Thats enough torque anyways. The tuner can limit the torque, if u have big turbos, thats what they usually do.
I just installed a Sachs 764 pressure plate with a GT2 disk. I absolutely love it. The pedal effort is barely any stiffer than stock (still lighter than my my stock BMW M3 clutch) and the vague and inconsistent feel of the stock clutch is gone.
I hated the stock clutch and considered doing the GT2 conversion several times. After driving with this clutch, definitely see the advantage of the stock power clutch setup. It makes me wonder if the vague feel of the stock clutch is do to the sprung clutch disk and dual mass flywheel combination. With the 764/GT2 setup, you keep the dual mass flywheel, but the GT2 disk is solid. WOW what a improvement.
I'm still getting the break-in miles on the clutch, so I can't comment on the power holding capability, but I believe it will be plenty.

+1. I had a puck race disc put in and just had it changed to a full disc.
Alright I have orderd the sachs 764/1098 combo :-) I´m also doing the gt2 slve conversion I have almost all parts but I cant find the partnumber for the cluth fluid reservoir cap.
I have understod that the cap gasket from turbo is only for pentosin use only not work with Dot , is this correct?

The engagement is high up like with the puck, but with the clutch stop from RSS it works great.
Which LWFW you're running?

Thanx for the part number, alright now I understand why I should get a new cap!
I also wanted to go with the Sachs 764PP/1098 Combo, but since I maybe want to upgrade to 700 crank hp or maybe Little bit more I'm not so sure if it will hold the torque. Whats the next step or Suggestion? Mostly street and highspeed on the Autobahn, some hard launches from stop sign and 1 Or 2 fun Track days, shopping with the wife also..
