sirius radio and tt
sirius radio and tt
anyone have a suggestion where the best place is to install the portable reciever for the tt. my installer is suggesting along center console besides passenger leg area but it is pain to switch channels and holding bulky remote also a pain. do they make any type of remote (smaller) to put on steering wheel, etc?

You could also remove the CD tray and custom make a bracket that could hold the unit.

They make a new Sirius receiver that is the same size and shape as a radar detector. It mounts the same way as well so I would assume that inaddition to the suction cups, there would be a visor clip as well? I know it's not ideal but it would look terrible to have a Sirius box sitting on the side of your center stack. Another option is going XM. There is a very small controller called a XM commander that will fit in front of your batwing. Esthetically, it would not look too bad but if you have seat heaters then you are again out of luck.

If I am not mistaken, Bill does not have a CD tray, Turbo S cabs come with PCM/nav standard so the A/C controls are already moved down by the batwing and the nav unit takes up the space normally taken up by the CD tray and the radio.
