Remove dash defrost trim (must remove A pillar?)
Remove dash defrost trim (must remove A pillar?)
So i've searched a bunch, and can't find a definitive answer, do I need to remove the pillar to take out the vent and dash trim? If so, where do I remove the pillar from?
I know this has been covered, but I searched the last few days and couldn't find this answer (found how to remove the trim).
Also, the vents, is there a trick to getting them out other then pulling them with hulk power?

Yes, A-Pillar has to come off to get side vents and trim out. Assuming you mean the dash defroster trim along with the little security light trim.
I started the A-Pillar from the rear (towards the B-Pillar) then worked towards the windshield. The A-Pillar trim is in there GOOD, almost feels like it's going to snap about the middle of the door. If I remember right it's 4 or 5 clips then it slide up away from the dash.
For the vents there are the two screws you can see and one behind the headlight switch on drivers and temp sensor cover on pass. They are at an angle toward the middle of the dash.
Once all that is removed then you can pull (hard) straight out on the vents and they will pop out. Then I used a nylon pry tool to start the dash trim. No screws on the dash trim.
