This is how we make it :)

Finished a X design with custom muffler 996tt exhaust with 20" cell cats. Oem tips reused.
Made per order and event the mufflers are made custom per request. A many exhausts ok market I see are one one kind made on an assembly line. Cutting corners with cheap muffler components and slip on $12 clamps to connect. Fabricating these for 9 years plus allows me to experiment and make it right, I even use a patent Pending stuffing material for the muffler.
Quality is in the detail, wanted to share some of my work with you guys. Don't get fooled by shiny parts made for pennies on the dollar.
Best

I make each one per request so I'm able to play with all the variables including reducing drone. With that said, whenever you read that a straight thru exhaust doesn't drone, it usually means the client is justifying his money's spent. I've been at this for years and I know just about every exhaust on the market.
Drone is also very subjective. I spent 2 years developing the right muffler components so can make adjustments be it for a client in Kuwait with 1100 whp or a someone with just a 500 hp flash set up. I know how to make them so each client gets the most out of it. Markski

Just so you know...

It's illegal to list a product as "patent pending" if a patent application has not been submitted. Each instance of this mislabelling creates a liability of up to $500.

Just thought you might want to know.

Not my patent. I was just trying to make a distinction that I do not use cheaper steel wool that's often used.
Thanks for the heads up.

No problem, just trying to help.

I mean, a quick google search for "Markski patent" comes up with this thread from 2010 in which the patent was still "pending".

Just saying... patents don't take 6 years.

If anyone is in NOVA and wants to hear straight through not droning I'd be happy to give a ride when weather clears. There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Lol yeah

As far as exhausts, I agree there are different ways to skin the cat. It all comes down to price, preference, type of exhaust etc. I've heard, seen, had many of them in my hands for at least 15 years plus. I didn't go from A to B and say " wow no drone on B".
I know the good stuff and who makes what just like tuning. Seen it all and I just smh. Lol

This ^^^^^ I've driven a ton of 996TTs with all sorts of mufflers. I currently have a straight through 3" exhaust which is more pleasant inside the car than my previous RUF exhaust (modded OEM) or any other exhaust that I've experienced on these cars. There is absolutely zero drone (and yes, I know what drone is) thanks to tuned helmholz resonators. Simple, proven, noise canceling technology without any moving parts. I won't ever buy another exhaust for these car's without them. No need for heavy complicated mufflers that only mask the offending drone frequencies instead of eliminating them. Helmholz resonators totally cancel them out. I am so impressed with the helmholz technology on this platform that I'm having the same exhaust made out of Inconel. More exhaust manufacturers should look into employing this proven effective technology in their exhaust systems. It's simple science...

The craftsmanship on Marek's exhaust looks very nice btw...

Doesn't damp the noise though! My car is quiet enough to have a normal conversation inside and listen to the radio easily but friends can hear me merging onto the highway a mile from their house if they're outside and I'm getting on it. Previous exhaust droned so badly I gave up on the radio and friends refused to ride in the car, I won't even sell that thing used to another member! OEMs use Helmholtz chambers on many intakes to damp sound, works great on exhaust to kill resonance....
