Joining the Club Soon...

Hopefully, I can post as a new owner early this week.

Close to closing on the local '02 996TT with under 3k miles I have been considering. Trying to resolve current car trade-in price or potential consignment ('02 BMW M3 cab - 9k miles) to close deal. Wanted to wait until spring like several here, but the lure is too strong..I should have never driven it. I need to get the car out of the showroom and put some much needed miles on it now!

Go for it!!! I bought mine in February and drove it home from Florida. I came home to a snow storm. It is never too early or too late. Good luck with it!!

Bad time for getting money out of the M3 cab however, especially with winter here in the East. But, the value will only go down by spring anyway. Wholesale price being quoted is rough ($42K) for a mint Nav car, and being told imola red/imola cars are less desirable..mmmm. Guess the soft market work both ways... when you are trying to buy and sell.

cb, Not sure what state you live in but here we get a tax break on a trade in, we only pay tax on the difference between the two cars, not the full value of the new car.
