Great build and sick pictures! Whats the plan for this beauty, highway runs and 1/2 mile events? Must be fun with all the new power, how are the Hancooks holding up? The 5558 are good for 1000hp correct? I have ID1300s sitting and I need to install, plus other goodies, but time will tell. So is the E85 fuel limit on the injector side or pump side?
Good stuff and thanks for sharing!
the plan at the moment is just to enjoy it as she's put together. The build and getting everything sorted out took longer than i'd like, but winter definitely didn't help with that either.
I absolutely love my hankook RS3s, I've got another brand new set ready to throw on here for the season. The 5558's are 500 each so i've been told, but at this point I don't even know if i could tell you the difference between 750 and 1000, it's all a blur anyhow.
I ran out of pump, but injectors aren't too far behind. If i was running race gas i'd be ok, but that's not the goal.

Definitely enjoy her now, Spring is right around the corner. What rim and tire combo are you running for the RS3s? The power you are making is plenty, specially in that dyno. I know you are already running other fuel stuff, but the SRM stuff is definitely a game changing fuel setup.
Currently I have a HTA 3076 turbo setup, along with intercoolers, injectors, SRM Stage 1 pump kit, bigger exhaust and COBB unit waiting to install, but I keep going back and forth with the setup. I am really liking the results from SRMs k24/71mm setup and now with the direct bolt on of EFR7163 option, decision has got a bit harder.
I don't want to build the engine anytime soon, so sticking to 650-700 whp dynojet would be ideal.
Oh yeah and I am loving the Volks on the 996! I used to run Gram Lights on my Evo, gold center with polished lips, loved those wheels.

Fun build and power output. It makes me consider the e85 route, but I don't think that makes to much sense for someone until they build a motor up like yours.
The guys at Turnin were a vouch point when I picked up my 996tt from your neighborhood in January. Car networks are so much more helpful than a PPI I feel like
Thinking you know the previous owner... (that is you in the foreground I believe?) I'm the proud owner of the gt2 winged one.
Congrats on buying Marcos car. Such a nice car. I love the way your exhaust sounds on that car too. The black 996tt with the aero wing in those pictures is mine.
Did marco send over the pics I shot of her already?
Hah, I missed this one! He was sending over one a day of pictures he had or ones that i suspect you shot while I was working out my timing to come down for pickup. Evil tease of a man

Thanks! Been enjoying it, so far my wife has been ok with the exhaust also (which is a plus). I'll have to tinker on it some to make it mine, but I suspect it'll just be wrenching to manage items that slowly age over time.
nope, not at all! those wheels look awesome btw macie, what are they?
I'd have to look up the offsets, they are a bit crazy...i have to do some serious math to make them fit perfect with the 305/30/19 in the rear while still leaving clearance for the fender intake. I love the rims so definitely worth it!

Thanks. They are 19" Champion Motorsport - RG5. I want to swap with someone that has some nice 18" Fikse or CCW wheels.
just ran across this congrats. it must be a necksnapper. keep in mind if you swap from the champions to 18's you can forget about running the rs3's. you'll be in our 18" tire shortage world. constant and it sucks. again, congrats. looks great.
Do either of you gentlemen have photos of the LED grilles with the LEDs on from a few different angles? I didn't think I liked it.. Until I really look at your cars, and now I think I do and am looking to get a pair for myself.
