Travel suggestions?

OK, I just pulled the trigger on the dream car. 2001 Porsche TT with upgrades to 575hp, (K24s, headers, exhaust, etc.) AWESOME car. So anyways, I am picking it up in Naples, FL and driving it home to So Cal with my brother. Gonna be a dream roadtrip.

A little backround. I buy almost all my cars out of state. I learned a long time ago, that if you want the BEST deal for your money......you have to expand the scope of your search to nationwide. So far I have driven cars home from Tampa, Houston, Dallas, Denver, Chicago and Napa valley. It's turned into a fetish of sorts.

I have come across the country on the 10, from Tampa, and Texas and the 70, from Chicago. As I want to avoid too much snow and have already done the 10, I am thinking we will take the 75 from Fl and run up to Nashville and then take the 40 across and back home.

Opinions? Suggestions?

AND, any MUST see's along the way? *****en car museums, Worlds largest truck stops (whoops, already been to Iowa 80), You know, Car buff places. My brother and I are both died in the wool, oil in the blood car lovers and want to make sure that we don't miss any must see's along the way..............

Thanks

Chris Barton
