Fastest 996TT

Doesnt seem like this topic has been up. Seeing as to how there are so many of you who like bringing these beasts up to the maximum power, i was curious to know(and i am sure other viewers are too) who has the most power on a 996tt.

Most of the tuners like IA and EVOMS and FVD all reach to the same amount of power offering a stage 5(or 6) which will give you 750bhp. I dont have a 700 horsepower 996tt and i am not sure what the most is but many argue the most power is 750hp while others are biased and say that its the most power cause thats as far as EVO goes. But then again there is CJV with 800hp 996tt(if i am mistaken please tell me).

so i was wondering, as of right now, who has the most powerful 996tt out there?

CJV has over 900hp with his second, internally fortified motor.

Gemballa's GTR 750 is also purportedly 850+hp. Sportec is also offering an 800hp package.

CJV has gone way beyond EVO and other tuners. He is definitely in a league of his own.

Who cares what everyone says their numbers are just follow the shootout. The only thing that matters is real performance and putting all that "horsepower" to the ground.

As Mills Lane use to say:

LET'S GET IT ON!

CJV's car will not be in the shootout and the 900 hp motor is his other motor that is currently not in the car.

I was told by Dave Colman it should be in the February issue. They don't run an issue in January. Keep in mind when reading that article, the motor was producing approx. 565 rwhp (665 fwhp) on the dyno that morning. That was almost six months ago.

Regarding power. The motor currently in the car produces 736 hp @ 7400 rpm's with no assistance from NOS or CO2. With assistance it makes over 800. The second motor is more powerful along with not very streetable due to the power ranges. We are learning and changes are being made.

I am really interested in following Hamann's car. The turbo's he is using are bigger than mine. My turbo's are designed to give instant response, this results in trade off's size wise. My lower first and second gears in conjunction with higher third thru six gears are designed for acceleration from 0-185 mph. My top end is now about 190 mph @ 7000 rpm's with 315 tires.

I have wanted to compare hp/torque throughout the rpm ranges with the Stage V however everything with them is a big secret. I no longer care what numbers they are making any more.

Tyson, I don't know what European Car is going to release as far as dyno numbers go, however please try to obtain hp/torque numbers from say approx. 2300 rpm thru wherever they stop (I run thru 7400 rpm) at 10 (or 100 if they can't do 10) rpm intervals. Also, maximum recorded boost and standard being used. I would like to compare and see the difference in the turbo's. Best of Luck and have fun.
