Still i think its a bad solution to have the exhaust exit right under the engineblock.
I can imagine this generates alot of extra heat.
Just imagine what happens on the wastegatepipe when you are on your limiter, you basically have a blow torch towards the crankcase..

But as mentioned, i dont think it will do any aerodynamic difference.

I agree. I think having them turned to the outside will direct that exhaust near the cats, which would be better.
