Rear Parking Sensor Positions

Can anyone help me understand the count on the rear parking sensor positions?

My number 7 rear outer right sensor shows as not communicating on my cayenne turbo. Can anyone explain the numbering?

I'm not sure how they are numbered. You might try having someone stand near the back of the car with a stick or a broom (something small enough to just cover one sensor) and move it toward each one individually. Not sure if it will work or how sensitive they are but you might be able to isolate it that way. The one that doesn't end up changing the lights would be the bad one. Worth a shot anyway.

If I had to guess I'd say it's the second one in from one side or the other just based on the idea of numbering them 1-8. Just depends which side they started on.

Edit: after reading your post again I'd guess it's the second in from the right side since it says right side. There are 8 sensors so that makes logical sense to me.
