Cool Replacing 996TT engine mounts with 997TT Mounts

Anyone done this,

Any noticeable change?

I know a lot of people run RSS mount but I'm not wanting to change my car into a bone shaker.

I noticed very little change while driving after replacing motor mounts. Replacing the transmission mount made the biggest difference.

Dont think 997 motor mounts are compatible with our cars. I believe ours are a 993 part number. Our transmission mount on the other hand are upgradeable to the 997 part and my understanding like ck986 said is they make a nice difference.

I am considering doing the oem 964 RS motor mounts. These units seem like a good compromise between stock and some of the firmer aftermarket units out there. Take a look at them

I went with the 997 transmission mount. I'm not sure what the part number of the motor mounts was. I used porsche mounts though. I have read rss mounts provide a tighter feel.
