Aren't the early 02's coming off warranty now? When were the first deliveries?

To close out this saga...

I brought the car to Pepe in White Plains. Turns out there was no bearing issue, windshield was more than 50% less, and EVERYTHING else was covered by WARRANTY. Mike at Manhattan Motor Cars said NOTHING was covered.

I understand that this shop has a reputation for screwing people over.

MMC's staff and that of the owner's credibility is tarred in the minds of my friend's and me. It's a shame because we've got money to spend and an even greater sphere of influence to move dollars his way.

If I had to guess, MMC incentivizes the service guys to jack people b/c it's a profit center. Bad, bad business practice.

Thanks all for your input.

Wow.........

I have heard about these practices but since I bought my cars there I was always treated well.

I am appalled that they treated someone from this community like that and will be sure to give a call over there tomorrow
