Had issues getting the car running. Garth helped get it worked out. I think a bunch of stuff in the ecu reset so lots of the inputs didn't work. It's running now but don't know how the tuning is going. Been a bad last 5 days or so. Girlfriend is having liver rejection so the car is low on my mind.

Well guys it's been a really bad few days. Last weekend I had the car out running on wastegate pressure and it was ok.

I was suppose to go on the crown rally this weekend and srd has been to busy to finish tuning my car. It had boost solenoid issues, we rewired Thursday morning and Matt and ryan took it out just to tune it up to 17-18 psi for the weekend quick. First pull on the gas, it went all wrong, boost hit 28 psi below 5k rpm. Short story it has a knock now and I have to take the motor apart and rebuild.

As soon as I load it in the trailer, I call the girlfriend and she had just got here blood work back and here liver is failing even worse than it was 3 weeks ago and has to go back to the mayo clinic and most likely will go back on the transplant list.

Then this morning I get a call a found out a good friend of mine passed away last night. He was only 25.

All around been ****ty. Praying my gf will be ok an don't know what to do with the car right now. Definitely won't be back on the road this year. No time to work on it and out of extra money at the moment.

 

Wow, that really sucks. The car will get fixed. Just be there for your Girlfriend right now.

There was detonation im sure. Could be a spun bearing but atleast you caught it now. Pro efi is not god lol.

Car I'm just sad. I guess it will just come out better next year and not rush anything. This sort of stuff is sadly normal for me. I have horrible general luck and this just is the addition to that. Even my good friends are in tears just for how bad stuff goes.

As long as the case and crank are ok it shouldn't be horrible to fix.

You will just build it better and come back stronger. Car is not important at this moment. Set it aside and not even think of it.
