Question on what everyone is paying for a custom track alignment like this? I have always gotten them for 150-175 but just went to a well known PCar shop and was charged 3 hours at 120/hr...not sure if this is normal

$400-500 is the typical rate for a full CB + alignment. Some shops may bill it out at an hourly shop rate depending on time. Full on race alignment from scratch will be up to $700. The initial CB/Alignment will be a lot more involved as you will need to adjust caster pucks, raise or lower individual shock perches, all of which will necessitate multiple removal of the wheels. Doing a half **** alignment is quick and easy, doing an accurate one is time consuming. For accurate results you always need to start with a brand new set of tires and properly ballast the car. Subsequent alignments are much simpler as you generally only need to adjust toe and camber. I only had to adjust camber and toe and taking my time it took me about 3 hours to get it done including setting up the rack. I aligned it based off the wheel hub as opposed to clipping on the head directly on to the wheels. As such you get a dead on alignment eliminating any discrepancies due to any minor wheel run out.

Thanks for this - makes me feel much better.

pirelli 275s are actually almost 300mm, have found these specs, wondering how such a wide tire can fit on stock fenders starting from 225/235 oem tire, just wow !!!

Compound: DH
Application: PCA GTC5 Front,
Diameter: 25.39 in / 645 mm
Section Width: 11.7 in / 297 mm
Tread Width: 10 in / 254 mm
Rim Width: 10.5-11.5 in
Weight: 22 lbs

They will fit. Those numbers are based on the tire mounted on an 11" wheel Fadi.

The section width on the NT01 275/35/18 I'm running on a 10" wheels is 282mm with a tread width of 10.25" (260mm). If the NT01s were mounted on an 11" wheel the section width would be comparable to the Pirellis as naturally the section width goes up with wheel width.

Pirelli also makes a 265/645-18 which is slightly narrower but a hair taller. This size would work also on 10s or 9.5s.

Have just measured my car suspension height

110mm front, gt2 118mm, you 102mm
131mm rear, gt2 133-138, you 123mm

We are the the lower limit of our setup, seems a smaller spring might give few mm from this point on

I did Joe Tooth lip in the front and side skirts so the car really runs low now, will try to use gt2 oem lip for some time and maybe find some workaround for the side skirts as car is really hard to be driven in normal traffic due to ground clearance. No chance to park it in the underground too, guess will need a trailer to get it in and then just unload it and park it there.

Anyway I was impressed to see how low your car runs and how many efforts should have been done to get you there, you really know your stuff and great for us to have you around
