Anybody else do this? Mafless, stock y-pipe + 50mm BOV
I am very pleased with how this setup works and sounds! Pics aren't great but you get the idea. I picked up an adapter 38mm to connect to the 50mm BOV and 45 deg silicone hose to connect to the stock y-pipe. Sound is awesome!

I've thought about doing this exact thing. A little ghetto but interesting to compare the sound of a 50mm before committing to a full ypipe upgrade.
yea the stock y-pipe is no fun I agree but I just went back to stock-ish setup, minus MAF and figured I'd add the BOV in this location instead of cutting and welding one on to the stock y-pipe.
I recently went MAFless and went with a Precision Turbo 64mm BOV, just have a base tune for now. Wasn't planing on going MAFless just yet, but my MAF died and I didn't want to buy another one.
