Looks good. How much ground clearance do you have under the front splitter? I would worry I'd tear that thing off turning in and out of driveways. I ruined my stock plastic one on a cattle guard a few years ago.
Air lift setup to raise it 2" for $1200.
Don't think of it as an air suspension. You use billet pieces that go between the springs and top hats. It only goes up to raise the car. Once it goes down, they are neutral. They don't play a role and won't effect suspension settings, function.
BTW, I was really looking forward to seeing how much power you would\could with the k2420s... what happened? I'm not trying to be sarcastic or anything like that. I have that setup, well lighter version of it and wanted to see if anything north of 800whp was doable.

That's actually a nice system and makes much more sense to me than the heavy hydraulic systems offered by Tech-Art, K&W, and the like. I just hope you didn't install that huge compressor and the air tank...
Actually guys the air lift system is going to go on the car but probably next winter. I have to change coilovers to do so being I still have the old design h&r street coilovers with a big front springs.
as for the k24/20 it came down to time and money. Didn't want to spend a bunch of extra time running them and then replacing and having to retune all over again. Part of me still wishes I would have run them but the efr get me last my 1000whp goal and are still small enough to race road course and autox with.

not sure yet until the motor is in the back. I run the car fairly high though. With the street setup and 255/35/19 in the front, I gain a lot just from the tires being tall.
also the splitter and side plates and be removed in 5 min or so. Not a big deal. 12 screws for the side plates and 7 quick disconnect screws for the splitter
Also doing just a front lift is only about 400 bucks. Just buy the air cups from stance. Then cheap and easy to get a small compressor 1/2 gallon tank, air soleniod, and a 90psi stop switch

And btw, your "Air-Lift guy" sucks at photoshop
. I know right. I was cracking up when he sent me that. He wasn't even trying hard. Lol
The pic was for like a truck setup I think. Those cups looked huge so when I pointed that out and the size of the tank he came back "with you get smaller cups and tank and it will all be in a hidden box in the Frunk". 2 lower profile tanks, no taller than the pump so it wouldn't take too much of the storage space.I didn't mind the price considering all the custom work he would have to do installing and hiding it all. He promised a working system all hidden.
So that's the company who makes it. I better have a tall cup of coffee. I'm barely awake.
$400 just for the cups, lines and fittings = 4bills, plus shipping, plus the other parts, pump, tanks, etc. and install, not too bad for 1200. I guess he was being fair. Good to know.

Yes, that is what I am planning as well. There are other manufacturers using the same "air cup" design.
As I was toying with the idea, I came across CF air tanks such as those used for paintball. A 90 cu in / 4500psi carbon fiber air tank weighs under 5lbs and should hold enough air for several dozen lift sequences. But you'd need to purchase a 4500psi compressor. And I'm not sure if you wouldn't need to stick one of those green diamond warning signs on the back of the car. LOL
What I don't like about the Stance parts, btw, is the 50mm lift. I don't need 2".

Isn't the KW setup like 5k?
Yes, the K&W setup is silly expensive. And if you were planning on doing a 4 wheel lift setup, the kit is €950 retail, so he's being more than fair. Rear shouldn't really be necessary on a properly set up car tho.
Actually, that's not a truck setup - that is for regular coilovers. The standard air cups are only 110mm (4.3") in diameter. And the springs can't be larger than 89mm (3.5") diameter. https://www.stanceparts.com/air-cup-lift-system/
be a man and just angle in places. My car is low on a one piece- CF bumper and just scrapes once in a while. I did reinforce the entire front lower edge in anticipation of it though. Problem with those kits are the real estate they take up. I think BC makes a cheap version too.
Not bad, expensive for a wear/tear P car part. Surprisingly the lips are usually cheaper. At least you can replace the lip though! My bumpers $$$ but it's just a part. Everything can be fixed if needed, ya know.

I don't care how much man you think you are, no way you will avoid scraping the corners on some intersections and\or driveways.
BTW. We haven't just leaned to drive...
Some of our cars are lower than others. I'm at the highest possible setting and it's still super low and scrapes even with the right angle of attack. Hence the airlift. Just don't want to pay 5k for one.
Lip is cheap, around $300 but the front bumper on my car is something like $7000. I really, really don't want to damage that sucker.
