Have SRM check on the porting job you did to make sure there in spec.

I would change out all bearings in trans, change out 4-6 gears to new brass syncros.
all that other stuff is already done. Only thing I'm changing is larger injectors than the 1300 I had.

yes trans will have new bearing and all the stuff as well. Figured that was a give any time you rebuild.

how is a head porting within spec? There isn't a spec on porting. You can flow bench or cc a head to make sure they are very close but there is not a spec for a particular port job. I've done tons of heads in the last 10 years, this is nothing new to me.

Gotchya. Yeah make sure your setup for e85 because you will not be able to run much boost with a boost controller on 93. When we used the stock boost controller that the car had we got to 21psi on pump but with a manual boost controller we got knock around 4500rpm after 17psi. There is a way tho by running a stand alone ecu. The problem is you can't control boost by rpm on stock ecu. Just looking out for you.

Don't do what some others do to run over a certain boost on 93 octane it's not worth it.

I run e85 all day because I have a gas station here with it. Such a relief lol.

Have them install a 996cup selector lever ($100 part) while the gearbox is apart Freddy. My gearbox just got rebuilt this week with a taller 4th and a new LSD. While at it, the front of the pinion shaft was cut off on a lathe so we could delete the FWD output shaft (propeller) from the gearbox and simply plug the front of the transmission case with a billet aluminum insert as is done on the GT2/3. This cleans up the gearbox and eliminates the output shaft seal in the front of the case. If you're gonna track the car with any sort of violence, I'd add a cooler...

Keith the car is running a proefi 112 with flex fuel and all the crap. Was on e85 when the rods bent. Been down this road building many cars, nothing new here.

yep, going to have them add the lever on there. Also probabaly going to change our my cables now as well. I might have to consider doing that to the front shaft. Takes some weight off the assembly I'd suppose. I'll be adding a cooler at some point. As of now just trying to get the car back together and tuned asap. Have a first local event mid April so that's the goal.

900rwhp yes. Probably going to take 32-35 psi to do it but we will see.

Ohh yeah it will take a lot to small of a turbo but it will be fun to watch. Highest I have seen was 730rwhp by the other user on here at 26psi on e85 turbos ran out of steam. Pro efi

Keith I showed you 3 cars over 750whp on stock motors and e85 before. Not going through all that again.

I'm going to tell you once again. Stock motor has nothing to do with small turbos that can't flow enough air. Please send over the people that are over 750rwhp??? So far on your old thread no one has made over that.

Your thinking your heads are going to make you a lot of power which your not understanding is you might see 10hp if that. Once your over 1000hp that's when you see bigger results.

K24/20g you can put miracle grow in there you still will be right where the others are that.

no Keith. On the other thread I showed you 3 specific cars all over 750whp on k24/20g on e85. I don't know how you failed to see that.
as for porting heads, it's a combo of freeing up flow through the whole engine. Honestly Keith I've done a lot of this in my life and can trust what I know works to make hp. You'll just have to wait and see.

You have done this I agree on other cars but not on a 996tt with k24s. Let me ask you something. You think people haven't tried this to make the most hp on k24s? Or why would you want to your going to spin all over the place because the turbos spool to quickly. Look at peoples before and after hp with porting heads. Below 1000hp your not gaining much. I'm doing mine next month because I'm putting even bigger turbos on so I need the flow.

Go and buy you some 3082 xonas from Sam or Todd they make over 1200hp and call it a day. 6k you will be happy and fast as hell. I'm waiting for mine.

Keith all the ones I showed you were on 996tt. I don't know if you can't read or simply refuse to admit the evidence that was there.
as for heads, with the porting in the rest of the engine as well as removing all the other restrictions, I guarantee it will make an improvement.
also as I said early, I will be adding larger turbos after maxing these out. Simply doing this to prove a point
