they look ok, I guess...lol...nice John! Any other changes while you're in there?
I'm still on the Ohlins train(IMHO, much better than my KW V3's on the Boxster), but in general we need more people on the suspension/chassis plan...power can wait

Nothing suspension wise.. We just opened up the gearbox and installed a new taller 4th, a new Guard LSD, and a new clutch. Everything was in perfect shape which was good news. Car is ready to go. I plan on running COTA in a few weeks so just getting everything ready.

Very impressive and intimidating at the same time unless you have a crew of experts to dial you in. My new to me car (WC TT) will need to figure out my Motons- may need to run over to see Jeff at Rothsport for setup. Trust you have a good shop for your work?

Yes. I'm pretty lucky. Chris Cervelli is a local friend of mine and one of the best suspension guys in the business. He's a limitless wealth of knowledge and one of the fastest guys I've ever seen behind the wheel of these cars....and he can build a mean engine and gearbox to boot.. I'll spend a day or two with him at the track taking turns in the car getting it dialed in. The feel he has with these cars is really amazing.

So why did you go with the JRZ vs something like the Ohlins TTX.
I know I love my Ohlins set up.

Beautiful setup...

I hesitate to ask this, but... what are you doing with your 2-way JRZs?

I will be selling the 2 ways. It will be a complete bolt on kit for GT2/3 but can be used on TT AWD cars when coupled with JRZ AWD front upper mounts and shock adapter sleeves. They'll come with extended Tarett drop links and rear Tarett drop links. Springs will be dual purpose 900/1000. I won't have it available till mid March or so.

I have a great relationship with JRZ. They are the only shock I'll use or recommend for any of my projects. Amazing products and support. Even though located in Europe, they are far easier to deal with than many companies stateside. TTX is a fantastic shock but I prefer remote canisters which make on the fly adjustments a breeze without having to crawl under the car. Remote canister shocks generally move more oil which is preferable from a performance standpoint. If I'm not mistaken, the Ohlins true motorsport shocks are all remotes..

Ohlins FTW! While I haven't 'worked on' my KW's, the Ohlins R&T on my GT2 blow away the KW V3's on my Boxster, different world of compliance so far despite being over double the spring weight and heavier running gear

Great relationships are pretty much paramount, find what you like and run with it
Pretty much all of Ohlins top tier stuff uses on-body canisters, they argue better oil flow vs having a hose to pump through...both styles naturally are better than 'single body' due to capacity/heat control

Are you going to have them dailed in for COTA? Wish I could go! Hey just saw that we are going to split a race weekend with Pirelli World Challenge. A full race weekend with sessions between the racing, outer loop which is my favorite. June 2nd-4th

No, I'll swap them out after I get back. No time to do it before and I don't wanna experiment with a new set up down there. If I can get away I might come up early June. I'll let you know. How long is the outer loop?

That's probably a good idea. Outer is 3 miles. really fun, witchcraft which connects west to east then up the hill to the attitudes, such a fast fun section. All the major races are on the outloop. It will be cool to run the same days as PWC.
