i wanted to say hi to everyone, ive been reading all your posts daily for the last few months and have been grateful for the information/awesome pics!!!

im on the verge of buying a 996 tt vs a 997 S, have driven both and love them both!! love the pure power of the tt but need reliability for daily driver & great handling on topanga's hairy canyon. if anyone would mind chiming in and give their 2 cents bout these two cars, id love to hear it.

* btw, this thread was posted on the 997 forum and got many favorable responses (as you can guess) in favor of the 997 S over the 996 tt. a senior member suggested i post in this 996 tt forum to see what you guys had to say. i would again love to hear your helpful responses! much appreciated!! thx!

 

My daily driver is a TT. It is excellent for reliability and obviously handles great. I would definitely recommend it. The 997-S is a fabulous car but I think you will go stale with it when the new 997-Turbo is released.
